MVGR College of Engineering proudly hosted Aadhrita-2026, its flagship techno-cultural-sports fest, bringing together students from across the region for two days of innovation, creativity and competition. The event successfully showcased the spirit of learning, collaboration and talent under the inspiring theme:

Over the two vibrant days, the MVGR campus transformed into a dynamic hub of technology, culture, sports and entrepreneurship.

Massive Participation from Across Institutions

Aadhrita-2026 witnessed an impressive daily footfall of more than 5200 students from 22 engineering colleges, universities and IIITs.

Among them:

• 1000+ students from external institutions actively participated.

• Nearly 1500 student participations were recorded across events.

• A total of 27 events were conducted under multiple categories.

These categories included:

• Technical competitions

• Multimedia and design contests

• Cultural performances

• Sports tournaments

The event provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their skills, exchange ideas and collaborate with peers from different institutions.

Flagship Event – 24-Hour Software Hackathon

One of the most exciting highlights of Aadhrita-2026 was the 24-Hour Software Hackathon.

The hackathon encouraged students to develop AI-powered and user-centric solutions using modern technologies and design thinking.

Key highlights:

• 101 teams qualified for the grand finale

• Around 350 students participated

• Teams worked continuously for 24 hours to build innovative software solutions

The event demonstrated the technical excellence, creativity and problem-solving abilities of young innovators.

Technical and Innovation Events

Students actively participated in several technical competitions including:

• Coding challenges

• Robotics competitions

• Drone technology contests

• UI/UX and design competitions

More than 400 students enhanced their technical skills through these events.

Additionally, innovation-focused competitions such as:

• Ideathons

• Paper presentations

• Technical debates

attracted around 250 students, encouraging research thinking and idea development.

The cultural events brought tremendous energy to the campus.

A total of 26 teams from 15 engineering colleges participated, demonstrating sportsmanship, teamwork and competitive spirit.

Student Startups Supporting the Fest

A remarkable aspect of Aadhrita-2026 was the involvement of four in-house student startups, which contributed to the digital infrastructure of the event.

These startups include:

• NetMaxin

• Viversed

• Clientura

• IndoVerb

They developed digital platforms for:

• Online registrations

• Event management systems

• Promotions and outreach

This initiative reflects the strong entrepreneurial ecosystem growing within MVGR.

Aadhrita Coin – Blockchain Innovation

Another innovative concept introduced during the fest was “Aadhrita Coin.”

This digital currency prototype, developed using Blockchain technology, was implemented by the faculty team to demonstrate the potential of decentralized technologies.

This initiative added a unique technological dimension to the event.

Distinguished Guests and Leadership

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Sri Ravi Bhavaraju, Head – TCS Visakhapatnam, as the Chief Guest.

The event was conducted under the leadership and guidance of:
