MVGR Teams Advance to the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2024

The Smart India Hackathon (SIH), a flagship national event fostering innovation and problem-solving among young minds, has seen commendable participation from MVGR College of Engineering. This prestigious platform encourages collaboration with industry experts and government agencies, providing students the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges with innovative solutions.

MVGR, in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, established its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in 2020 to promote innovation, intellectual property rights (IPR), entrepreneurship, and startups. Under this initiative, the college organized its first-ever virtual internal hackathon on its dedicated website, paving the way for students to prepare for the Smart India Hackathon 2024. Over 30 teams, comprising 180+ students from various departments, participated voluntarily, generating more than 30 innovative ideas.
