Women Empowerment Cell of MVGR College of Engineering celebrated the International Women's Day on 8^th March, 2021. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. CP Nandini, Associate Professor, Damodaram Sanjeevayya National Law University, Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam.

In this Program, the Convener of the Women Empowerment Cell, Dr. Sarah Kamala Kumari read the Annual Report.

Dr. KVL Raju, Principal of MVGR College addressed the gathering and said that in the future, women have to achieve the empowerment in such a way that dominates the achievements of Men.  In every aspect, the men and women should be given equal priority and also given equal opportunity in all fields.

The Chief Guest Dr. Nandini spoke that women should use their freedom of speech in the right way.  Sha also encouraged all girls to develop their self-confidence and embrace challenges inspite of gender inequality.  She stressed on mental maturity that gives individual strength to face challenges equal with men.

Certificates were given to winners that participated in various events like poster making, Arts & Crafts, singing, dance, elocution and essay writing.  Cultural performances by students grabbed the attention of the audience..

In this program, Dean of Students, women faculty and students were participated.
