MVGR CELEBRATED 26th ANNUAL DAY ON A HIGH NOTE

Marking the year of Dr. PVG Raju CENTENARY YEAR, MVGR College of Engineering (A) celebrated 26^th annual day on March 2^nd in a high note. For this event, Mr. J Siva Shankar Reddy, Joint Chief Inspector of Factories, VSKP attended as chief guest, Mr. L S Rao, Director, Pioneer Aluminum company attended as Guest of Honor. MVGR welcomed both of the dignitaries with special GUARD OF HONOR from BOY AND GIRLs WING of NCC.

Later, they visited the student stalls where students explained various innovation research models developed and both were interacted with the students and praised them on their creative works showcased over there.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. R. Ramesh, Principal-MVGR told that in the changing education system nationally & internationally, MVGR brought many changes in the academics for the past year where student teacher relation improved and learning process become more student friendly to ensure students will get holistic learning & career development experience.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. S. Sitharama Raju, Director-MVGR highlighted that MVGR is quickly adopted to the fast changing education system in India because of the holistic system existed in MVGR as this institute is 26 years long journey. He added that the students, parents trust and faith on MVGR made MVGR a place for building careers and speaking success rather than publicity numbers.

Guest of Honor, Mr. L S Rao felt happy as this is a great opportunity to share his experiences in front of all, instead he said that he raised and studied in Vizianagaram. L S Rao called Vizianagaram as City of Education because of Raja Saheb, Dr PVG RAJu’s vision at those times with the institutions built and maintained by their family members till now. He requested students to take care of their parents first since the health, wealth and studies, everything comes from them. He also told students that try to become entrepreneurs by spending time to think for new innovations and don’t run only for jobs since India is growing quickly in startups and IT sector.

Chief Guest, Mr. Siva Shankar Reddy expressed happiness and thankful to the management for calling him as chief guest for the annual day as this is the first time he called for a college function after 26 years of his work experience. He highlighted that life style and career will be shaped and developed after 20^th year of every student where college provides all skills and create opportunities. He requested every student to work hard to achieve goals in his crucial time of his life i.e. from 20th year to 40th year. He appealed students to always think big even after getting placement in college and asked not to stop with that placement only. He advised parents to think even higher by talking with the children what their aspirants and what they want to become.

For all the academic toppers, chief guest and guest of honor presented gold and silver medals who were present along with their parents.

Students showcased their multi talents in the form of various kinds of dance forms, playing musical instruments and singing on the SPECIAL EVENING CULTURAL SHOW and made the event more colorful and joyful.

For this event, Dr. YMC Sekhar, Vice-Principal-MVGR, various deans, heads of departments, staff and students were present.
