74th Republic Day Celebrations & 2 KM Patriotic Run
MVGR College of Engineering (A) NSS and NCC unit celebrated 74th republic day celebrations with great sense of nationalism and patriotism. As part of this, following NCC parade, Principal of the college Dr. KV L. Raju unveiled the national flag.
Speaking on this occasion, he said the importance and greatness of constitution of India. He discussed about the republic day importance, great work done by Dr B R Ambedkar and crucial articles and amendments of constitution. Every student should not only concentrate on academics but also should focus on extra-curricular activities like sports, arts, dance, etc. He also appreciated the MVGR NCC cadets and NSS volunteers for their relentless services and contributions to the society. He distributed prizes and mementos to art club winners, NCC senior under officer and junior under officer awards, NSS best volunteers, essay writing and elocution winners.
Later, he started 2 KM Fit India Patriotic Run with NCC, NSS volunteers, students and staff members.
